About SpectraLIMS
SpectraLIMS builds focused software for laboratories: custom applications, integrations, customer portals and extensions to existing LIMS. We are a business of Inventika LLC, serving laboratories in the United States and internationally.
Software sized to the problem
Laboratory software has a habit of arriving in one size: large. Enterprise LIMS platforms are powerful and, for many organizations, the right choice. But plenty of laboratories need something narrower. A small lab may need to retire its spreadsheets without a multi-year rollout. An established lab may need one missing workflow, a customer portal or an instrument interface, not a new LIMS.
We build that kind of software: purpose-built, sized to the problem, and designed to fit alongside the systems a laboratory already has.
Background
SpectraLIMS was founded by a software engineer with around 20 years of experience working on the core technology platform behind STARLIMS, along with broader experience in enterprise software architecture, application platforms, software development and technology leadership.
That experience is in engineering the platform: the architecture and tooling that laboratory applications are built on, rather than running laboratories or leading customer implementations. It means we understand how LIMS software is structured, how it handles data, rules and integrations, and what makes it hard to change years later.
For projects that need hands-on laboratory or implementation experience, we work with specialists from our professional network, including experienced STARLIMS implementation consultants.
